1) Keep a powerpoint document open on your larger monitor and keep it on a slide that has something complex on it like a roadmap. Change the slide every once in a while.
2) Drink a lot of coffee and leave the mugs on your desk
3) Spread papers all over your desk
4) Roll up your sleeves

Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re missing one small part of the pieces you need to get that next promotion. Don’t budge. Don’t take a crappy job programming websites because you know nothing about making websites even though your job is selling websites.
